I haven't given up blogging! I will be back to posting regularly. A while back I was tagged by   Rebekah Ashleigh   for this fun tag. 

Fall is my favorite season of the year. I haven't talked a lot about my book lately, but I'm going to try and change that.

Realm Makers 2017 was amazing! I meant to get this posted sooner, but by the time I recuperated from the conference, life got busy. I had a ton of fun and learned a lot at the conference. I don't know where to start so I'm just doing some highlights.

Wow, June is already over. It has been a crazy month. Here are some highlights from my month.

I took an unintentional break from blogging, but I will hopefully get back in to it. Today I am going to share my thoughts on "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales". (spoiler free)

Today is May 4th. For those of you who don't know what the significance of today is, it is Star Wars Day. May the 4th be with you! :) I'm going to do a very brief Star Wars post because it Star Wars Day! :) Plus I couldn't resist, being the Star Wars nerd that I am. :) Star Wars is the BEST movies ever made!! ( In my opinion.) I started watching them when I was 5 years old. I grew up watching the prequels so those are my favorite. My older brother and I are the Star Wars experts in our house. This year is the fortieth anniversary since "A New Hope" came out. The teaser trailer looks amazing! For now I am taking a break from scheduled posts. Lately it just hasn't been working out. I know I didn't post last week. Sorry about that. It was a super busy week. Anyways, in the writing class I'm taking we did some poetry. I do not like poetry at all, but I do like rhymes. Thankfully we got to do some. I decided to share some of my limericks today.

March felt really long. It has been a crazy, but productive month. Here is my recap of March.

When I started my blog my original ideas for it was to do movie and book reviews. That didn't work out to great. :) Well, I'm trying to change that. Today I am doing a review.

Sorry about not posting on Friday. I was gone all day skiing. I've never been skiing before. It was a lot of fun. I also have some news. I'M GOING TO REALM MAKERS!!! If you've never heard of Realm Makers it is a writing conference for Christian sci-fi and fantasy writers. It's at the end of July. I will continue posting on my regular schedule this Friday.      Last year was an awesome year for movies. I didn't think it was possible to get better. But it looks like it is. This year is going to be really good. Here are the most anticipated movies of 2017.

     Recently I started experimenting with taking lego pictures. I'm trying to put lego with real scenery. Here are some of my more successful pictures.

     Wow! February is almost over. Here is my short recap of February. :) Reading I read one book this month. "The Mysterious Benedict Society" by Trenton Lee Stewart. Writing I did a ton of writing the first half of the month. On February 10th at exactly midnight I finished my novel!!!! The first draft of "Royal Fire" is complete! I started another novel. I'm trying some new things with this one. I'm trying longhand and first person. So far I like longhand better than typing. Music I listened to a lot of music while finishing my book.      I know what I said about DC movies. But the trailers for "The Lego Batman Movie" looked really good. Plus it's Lego. I love Lego. Anyways, here are my thoughts on it. (spoiler free)

The first draft of my novel is almost finished! I will hopefully finish it in the next day or so. Today I'll share my back cover synopsis. The official title of my novel is Royal Fire.

      Wow! It's already February. January went by to fast. Last year I started my blog. Here I am a year later. Still blogging. To celebrate my blogiversary I did a Q&A. Today I'm answering all of your questions. I had a lot of fun answering them. All questions are anonymous so I don't know who asked what except for my sister. ;D

       I hope everyone had a good week. Today I'm going to do something new.  For a writing class I'm taking I had to write a short mystery in a week. It had to be in first person. I've never written in first person or a mystery so it was a new experience.       Today I am going to share my mystery.

In two weeks I will have had my blog for one year! To celebrate I will be doing a question and answer thing. You can submit your questions in the form below. Feel free to submit as many as you like. Wow! 2016 is already over. It seems like it just started yesterday. Today I will be sharing some of my goals for this year. Yes, I do know that the first week of 2017 is almost over. But at least I'm actually posting one. :)  Here are my goals for 2017. Goals: Writing: Finish all of my drafts of Royal Fire. (My novel.) Get it off to my beta readers. Start the publishing process. Try writing long hand with a new novel. ;) Life: Grow closer to God. Read the Bible more often. Learn to rap. (Christian rap.) (This is a fairly easy goal. Once I get the hang of it I'm going to try free styling.) Reading: Try two new series. Finish a series. Broaden my reading horizon. Read more books that I own. Blogging: Post once a week. (Probably on Fridays.) Get better at blogging. That about covers it. What are some of your goals? How is your new year so far? Is wanting to learn to rap weird?
