Something New!

I hope everyone had a good week. Today I'm going to do something new.  For a writing class I'm taking I had to write a short mystery in a week. It had to be in first person. I've never written in first person or a mystery so it was a new experience.       Today I am going to share my mystery.

1st Blogiversary!

In two weeks I will have had my blog for one year! To celebrate I will be doing a question and answer thing. You can submit your questions in the form below. Feel free to submit as many as you like. I will stop receiving questions on January 30th. I will post my answers on February 3rd. Technically the 4th will be one year, but I am going to stay on schedule. Loading... Until next Friday, Jonathan

2016 Bookish Recap Tag

So far my goal for posting on Fridays is going good.  In the future I probably won't be posting this late, but today was super busy. Last year  Rebekah Ashleigh  tagged me for this fun book  tag. It was actually only two weeks ago. ~ Rules. ~ -- Include the above button in your post.  -- Answer the 11 questions.  -- Use as many book covers as you like. (The correct answer to this question would be ALOT. B-))  -- Tag 5-10 people and notify them that they have been tagged.  ~ Questions. ~ // How many books did you read in 2016? (Exact if you know, or approximate if not.)  I read 16 books this year. Although it seems like I read more. // Did you set a reading challenge for yourself and, if so, did you meet it? I did not set a challenge for myself. // What was your most read genre this year? Least read? My most read genre was fantasy. I read 12 fantasy books. Everything else I read were 3 fiction books and a biography.  // What's five of your favorite books from 201

Hello 2017!

Wow! 2016 is already over. It seems like it just started yesterday. Today I will be sharing some of my goals for this year. Yes, I do know that the first week of 2017 is almost over. But at least I'm actually posting one. :)  Here are my goals for 2017. Goals: Writing: Finish all of my drafts of Royal Fire. (My novel.) Get it off to my beta readers. Start the publishing process. Try writing long hand with a new novel. ;) Life: Grow closer to God. Read the Bible more often. Learn to rap. (Christian rap.) (This is a fairly easy goal. Once I get the hang of it I'm going to try free styling.) Reading: Try two new series. Finish a series. Broaden my reading horizon. Read more books that I own. Blogging: Post once a week. (Probably on Fridays.) Get better at blogging. That about covers it. What are some of your goals? How is your new year so far? Is wanting to learn to rap weird?
